Zhilichi Historical Museum Complex

Zhilichi palace and park ensemble, built in the style of classicism, the residence of the noble family Bulgakov, known in Belarus since the 15th century. The Zhilichi palace and park ensemble is included in the list of historical and cultural values of the Republic of Belarus. It is one of the few surviving classical style monuments of the late 18th and early 19th centuries in Belarus that has a distinctly homestead character.

In 2009 the restoration works were commenced. In 2011 the inauguration of the first stage of the palace's restoration took place. This part of the palace now houses a children's art school, a museum and a library.

Today the museum is located in the restored southern wing of the palace. Expositions are located in two halls. On the first floor there is an exhibition devoted to the Soviet period in the history of the palace, and a natural history exposition. On the second floor there are expositions "The palace sofa room" and "History. Ethnography", in the hall of the second floor there are temporary exhibitions. There are more than 4 thousand items in the funds of the museum. Excursions to the halls of the palace and the park, museum classes are held.
